TrustworthinessMixed

The reel suggests that taking vitamins D, A, K, and E together with minerals is essential for optimal health benefits and preventing calcification, but the evidence for these claims is mixed. While there is support for the benefits of individual vitamins like D and K2, the necessity of taking them together as described is not well-supported.

The thing everyone needs before you go out and spend money on expensive nootropics, before you go out and buy a gym membership, before you do any of this stuff, you've got to have your vitamin DAK, which is D, A, K, and E, and you've got to have your minerals. If you do that, the fat-soluble vitamins drive minerals to where they go in the body and keep them there. And if instead you just take your vitamin D and you don't take A, K, and E, it doesn't work very well and actually can increase risk of calcification. So I just teach you, look, these two things, they're not sexy. There's not enough of them or they may not even be present in a multivitamin. But if you were to get your minerals and your fat-solubles, it doesn't matter what biohacks you're doing, they all work better and so does your sleep and so does your sex and so does whatever it was you were doing at work. So these are just foundational and they're missing in our conversations around biohacking and health.
