I said what I said and I’m NOT sorry 🤷🏼‍♂️ Follow @biolayne for more NO BS info on how to build muscle and lose fat I’m sure the comments will be spicy but here’s the reality: supplements like creatine monohydrate, whey protein, & caffeine have a MOUNTAIN of research data showing they are effective & they are also quite affordable. Ashwagandha also has a lot of DATA for me to be bullish on for building muscle, strength, recovery, sleep, & performance Collagen? Very pricy, HORRIBLE for building muscle (literally the worst protein source there is for that) & I am not convinced it does anything for connective tissue since the very controlled studies have demonstrated it does not increase connective tissue synthesis more than whey (PMID: 39086044) EAAs & BCAAs? No benefit if you already consume sufficient protein (PMID: 24620007) Glutamine is 80% extracted by the gut & liver. It may have small to modest benefits if you have an inflammatory GI disorder but that’s about it Test boosters rarely work in humans, especially people who are not hypogonadal & at best cause a small rise that has not been shown to increase muscle mass Fat burners are typically a kitchen sink of lose dose ineffective ingredients. Heck creatine has more evidence for causing body fat loss than fat burners Speaking of creatine, you are wasting your money on any form that isn’t monohydrate. Ethyl ester, buffered creatine, HCl at BEST are equally effective as monohydrate (CEE is worse) but cost 2-4x as much (PMIDs: 19228401, 22971354, & 39545789) Most brands overcharge you with underdosed, ineffective ingredients. My brand @outworknutritionofficial uses the most effective, clinically dosed ingredients at a fair price. No marketing BS. No fluff. Just effective ingredients priced fairly, and marketed responsibly. Hit the link in my bio for more info (you can also read all the scientific citations for our products on our website)
