Ipamorelin
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide GHRP that acts as a selective ghrelin receptor agonist, stimulating pulsatile GH release from the pituitary with a favorable selectivity profile compared to earlier GHRPs. Unlike GHRP-2 or GHRP-6, it produces minimal elevation of cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH — making it generally considered the 'cleanest' GH secretagogue peptide in terms of neuroendocrine side effects. It is frequently combined with CJC-1295 (a GHRH analog) to produce synergistic GH pulses through complementary mechanisms, a combination widely used in off-label wellness and anti-aging protocols. Evidence for clinically meaningful outcomes in healthy adults — improved body composition, faster recovery, enhanced sleep — relies on small studies and extrapolation from GH-deficient populations; no regulatory approval exists.
