THREE IN FOUR Aussies struggle to sleep.. and melatonin is now a go-to. THIS IS WHY IT’S A PROBLEM. 1. Long-term safety data remains insufficient, particularly regarding endocrine, circadian, or metabolic effects 2. Supplement formulations can be highly inconsistent: A JAMA study found melatonin gummies containing 74–247% of labeled dose, and other surveys revealed up to 465% lot-to-lot variation 3. Overdosing can lead to increased fatigue, exhaustion; and under-dosing can lead to ineffectiveness, or continued night time wakings… neither is good. We need natural solutions - that work long term, without potential risks. My page is full of natural alternatives - I recommend starting with my bedtime routine which helps you produce melatonin naturally. Thank you to Weekend Today for having me on to share this advice too - grateful as ever. #oliviaarezzolo #sleepexpert #sleepbetter #MelatoninFacts #MelatoninOveruse #SleepSupplementSafety #SleepMyths #ScienceOfSleep #BetterSleepNaturally #NaturalSleepAid #HolisticSleep #SleepWithoutPills #SleepSupport #SleepEducation #SmartSleepChoices #SleepTipsDaily #SleepRoutineMatters #AnxietyAndSleep #OliviaArezzolo #SleepExpert #AustraliasLeadingSleepExpert #SleepBetterFeelBetter #BedtimeRoutine
